The Classic Journey-the 5 days/4 night itinerary:

As you set off from Edinburgh along Scotland's east coast, this journey will touch on everything that makes Scotland so great!  The beginning of the journey you will see the white sandy beachs of Montrose, and the granite architecture of Aberdeen which is all surrounded by lush hills.  Another stop along the way is at the Glen Ord Distillery, on the edge of the Black Isle peninsula is a beautiful spot to stop and taste test the award winning whiskey.  Then you will continue on towards Kyle of Lochalsh on the west coast going right past Loch Duart which is famous for its salmon and the ancient Torridon mountains.  Disembark in the small harbor vilage of Plockton where you can explore the area in many different ways.

You will also visit so many wonderfully amazing buildings, castles and estates that will create an everlasting memory of Scotland for you.  Orient Express also has various activities available for you to enjoy while off of the train such as fishing and boating and much more.
