From Icebergs to Inuits:  Kangerlussuaq, Greenland to St John's, Newfoundland, Canada

What to look forward to in your intinerary:

Saqqaq, Greenland - In Saqqaq we will share morning kaffe-milk (coffee and cake) with the locals, learning more about their culture and lifestyle.  Before departing enjoy a Zodiac tour around the many icebergs that get stranded here.

Ilulissat, Greenland - Often surrounded by icebergs in all shapes and sizes and in varying shades of white and turquoise, we will cruise the entrance of the Icefjordin local fishing boats, navigating amongst the many icebergs.

Nuuk, Greenland - At the Greenlandic National Museum we have the fantastic opportunity to see the famous Qilakitsoq mummies, and will leave time to visit Father Christmas's post office wiht the world's largest mailbox.

Lower Savage Islands, Canada - Our Zodiacs will allow  us to cruise through the narrow channels between the Lower Savage Islands to search for wildlife, and more specifically POLAR BEARS and seals, among the unusual rock formations.

Cape Dorset, Canada - Cape Dorset is the most famous Inuit art village in the Canadian North.  Here we will visit the printmakers and carvers of the region.  We explore Mallikjuaq Territorial Park with its archaeological remains.

Akpatok Island, Canada - We explore the uninhabited island's coast by Zodiac.  Home to the world's largest population of Thick-billed Murres, estimated at well over a million birds, the island is also a summer home for Polar Bears.
